Our Body Wash isn’t a conventional shower gel.

At its core, it is true liquid soap, made by saponifying tallow and coconut oil with lye. But rather than relying on potassium hydroxide alone, we use a carefully balanced dual-lye formulation — potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide — to create the thicker, gel-like consistency we wanted from a body wash.

The result gives you the familiar experience of a rich, pourable wash in the shower, while what is inside the bottle remains fundamentally simple: real soap, made liquid.

Rooted brings another layer entirely. Juicy pear meets soft, creamy vanilla, creating a fragrance that is warm and comforting while retaining a subtle fruity freshness. The sweetness of vanilla rounds out the brightness of pear, giving Rooted the distinctive scent that runs throughout our signature collection.

No conventional shower-gel base. No need to make soap pretend to be something else. Just real liquid soap, formulated for the bottle.
