Why tallow?
Long before modern skincare shelves were filled with complex formulations, animal fats, such as tallow were valued in homes for their remarkable versatility. Tallow was used for cooking, soap making, household care and skin care. At Home Grown By B, we believe beautiful skincare does not have to begin with the most expensive or complicated ingredient. Sometimes it means returning to something familiar, dependable and environmentally friendly.
Are the products vegan?
No. Our products are beef tallow based and are therefore not vegan presently. Please check our page frequently for new products, which may include vegan options in the future.
Do the products use essential oils or fragrance oils?
Our products use fragrance oils. At Home Grown By B, we chose ingredients according to their purpose, performance and suitability. Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts and contain compounds that may cause irritation or sensitivity. We use fragrance oils given that they are less likely to irritate the skin and are suitable for a wider range of skin types.
Are the products safe for the whole family?
